Why the U.S., and why it's hard

A rare opportunity, with real requirements attached.

The E-2 visa opens the door to one of the most stable, profitable markets in the world. Walking through it — and staying compliant once you're in — is where most investors need help.

The Opportunity

  • The U.S. offers one of the most stable and profitable markets for a new business.
  • The E-2 visa lets qualifying investors live in the U.S. and personally run their business.
  • Execution and ongoing compliance are what separate an approved case from a stalled one.

The Challenge

  • Navigating U.S. regulations and evolving USCIS requirements.
  • Building a business model that's genuinely viable, not just visa-eligible on paper.
  • Hiring, payroll, and compliance complexity most first-time founders haven't faced before.

Our Solution

We don't just advise — we execute.

A1A TeamSolutions helps Florida small and medium-sized business owners cut operations and startup costs through AI-driven solutions and a trusted referral network built from real experience — plus dedicated case management for investors pursuing the E-2 visa.

Before You Book a Consultation

What makes an E-2 case especially strong.

Please review this list honestly before requesting a consultation — it will help us make the most of our time together. The strongest applications typically include:

A well-documented, lawful investment that has already been committed.

A real business that is operating or ready to begin operations immediately.

A detailed, credible business plan with realistic financial projections.

Evidence of future hiring of U.S. employees.

Clear documentation showing the investor's experience and ability to operate the business.

Complete financial records tracing the source and use of every dollar invested.

If your project doesn't yet meet all of these points, that's exactly where our Business Readiness Assessment comes in — reach out and we'll help you get there.

Who We Are

A network built on business, not just paperwork.

We're a group of entrepreneurs, business owners, and senior managers who've done business together over the years — and became friends along the way, long before we became partners in this.

01

Entrepreneurs first

We're business owners and senior managers ourselves, not consultants who've only ever advised from the outside.

02

Business partners, then friends

We've done business together over the years, and became friends along the way — long before we became partners in this.

03

A network earned through experience

Every referral we make is to someone we've actually done business with and trust, not a name from a directory.

04

Room to grow together

We're always looking to expand that network by helping others, whether they're starting something new or growing what they've already built.

Common Questions

What people usually ask before reaching out.

Straightforward answers — no jargon, no sales pitch. If you're a serious inquiry, reading through these first will help us make the most of your free consultation.

Timelines vary by case complexity and country, but most investors should plan for roughly four to seven months from initial business planning through visa approval. We'll give you a realistic estimate specific to your situation during your free consultation.

Our process is built to catch weak spots early, before significant time or money goes into a full filing — most approval issues trace back to gaps in the business plan, source-of-funds documentation, or a case that doesn't yet meet the "real and active" business standard. The $500 application fee that begins our engagement — covering document collection, your business profile, and getting licensing and registration underway — is non-refundable. Beyond that, we don't collect our case management fee upfront: it's due once you actually obtain E-2 approval.

There's no fixed legal minimum — USCIS looks at whether the investment is "substantial" relative to the type of business you're building. A small consulting practice and a manufacturing facility have very different benchmarks. As a point of reference, a small restaurant with around four to five employees typically needs an investment in the range of $180,000–$250,000 to be considered substantial. We'll walk through what's realistic for your specific business concept during your consultation.

We start with a free, no-obligation consultation (about 10–15 minutes) so you can decide if it makes sense to move forward. If it does, we begin with a signed agreement and a $500 application fee, which is non-refundable. From there, case management pricing typically falls between $1,500 and $10,000, depending on the size and complexity of your business — and that fee isn't due upfront, it's payable once your E-2 case is approved. We'll walk you through a specific quote once we understand your case.

No. A1A TeamSolutions is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation. We handle the business side of your case — business plans, source-of-funds organization, and operational setup — and coordinate with your independent, licensed immigration attorney, or refer you to one through our network if you don't already have one.

You'd need a different visa pathway, since E-2 eligibility depends entirely on your country having a qualifying treaty with the U.S. Check the official State Department list to confirm — some countries have added treaties over time, so it's worth checking directly rather than assuming.

Both. Alongside E-2 case management, we provide operations, HR, and facility management support for small and medium-sized businesses already established in Florida — no visa involvement needed for that side of what we do.

That's where our business solutions services pick up — operations, HR, facility management, and ongoing support to keep the business running the way your case represented it would. We also stay connected through our referral network for tax and real estate needs as you grow.
